About our Modern Creative Dance Class for Ages 5-7

This lively and imaginative class is designed to inspire movement, build coordination, and support your child’s growing mind. Each session begins with a fun warm-up and gentle stretches, followed by energetic locomotor activities that get students moving across the floor and working together.

We’ll explore the building blocks of Creative Dance—Body, Action, Space, Time, and Energy—while introducing the foundations of Modern Dance technique. Through interactive exercises, children will not only learn how to move expressively but also how to collaborate with others, make creative choices, and solve movement-based problems.

As they explore and create, students strengthen their ability to focus, listen, take turns, and express themselves clearly—all while having fun and making new friends. This class nurtures the whole child: physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
