Class Dress Codes for the 2024/2025 School Year

Class Dress Codes

We do not expect free trial students to purchase any dance attire, please dress as close to our code as you can.

Dress code attire for our Creative Dance, Pre-Level and Children’s classes is available for purchase at Center Stage Dance Shop, 5261 University Way NE. (206)-527-4697 and some local department stores. Or you can order online at Discount Dance Supply and use school code TP120018.

You can also check our swap box at each of our studios for donated outgrown leotards and shoes.

It is important for students to be prepared in proper dress code attire, and to have their hair fully and comfortably secured before class starts so they are not distracted during class. We want students to be able to focus fully on enjoying dancing and learning as much as possible!

Wearing proper dress code attire also allows teachers to more clearly see students’ alignment and technique. We have hair ties and bobby pins in all studios and offices, so please ask teachers if you need hair supplies. You are welcome to ask your teacher or the office if you need any tips on making a secure ballet bun.

Any jewelry that can get in the way of dancing, should not be worn in class.
