Moana-Themed Creative Dance Camp

Each camp will begin with a Creative Dance warm up to build body awareness, strength, flexibility, and coordination, followed by locomotor work across the floor.

Using the soundtrack, storyline and characters from Disney’s film, students will explore movement concepts such as size, level, speed, relationships, pathways, shapes and more. On the last day of camp, parents are invited for the last half hour for a presentation showing what the children have learned.

Attire for girls is leotard, bare feet and bare legs, assuming the weather will be warm. If it is not or if students prefer, footless tights may be worn. Boys wear shorts or black tights, T-shirt and bare feet.
