Jessica's Bio

Jessica Lagreid, is American Dance Institute's newest Irish Step Instructor. She joins long time Irish dance instructors Janelle Jones and Addie Keller. Jessica will be teaching Children's Beginning Irish.

Jessica began Irish dancing at the wee age of 6 with the Deely-Smith School of Irish Dance in the San Francisco Bay Area. She danced competitively up through her high school years, competing at a championship level across the western United States.

While she enjoyed the competitive side of Irish dance, she's always been more drawn to and passionate about the performance side. She was also a member of her high school's performance dance ensemble where she explored and enjoyed jazz, modern, ballet, and contemporary dance styles.

After graduating from Arizona State University in 2010, she was eager to get back into Irish dancing and joined the Bracken School in Phoenix, Arizona. She moved to Seattle in the fall of 2014 and was excited to find Irish dance opportunities in the area.
