Rubina Carmona

Rubina Carmona perfected her art of Flamenco dance in Seville and Madrid. For over 30 years she has taught and performed extensively, both in Spain and America. She is also a principal singer, dancer and choreographer for Carmona Flamenco.

This multi talented performer is one of the few Flamenco artists featured as both a singer and a dancer. She considers herself a musician who dances and is equally well known for her lecturing and inspirational teaching. Senora Carmona is also the artistic Director of La Pen~a Flamenca de Seattle, a community performance group whose dancers train at American Dance Institute. She has been with American Dance Institute since 1992.
