Elizabeth Chayer

Elizabeth Chayer received her teaching certificate from the School of the Hartford Ballet in Connecticut. She has taught for the University of Alaska, Alaska Pacific University and Anchorage Community College. She also taught and served as assistant director for Alaska Dance Theatre for five years. Elizabeth founded American Dance Institute in Anchorage, Alaska in 1984 and served as its director for five years before relocating to Seattle where she opened the Seattle branch. Elizabeth still serves as Artistic Director of American Dance Institute and enjoys working with both children and adults teaching Ballet, Pre-Ballet and Creative Dance.
