Darrah Blanton

Darrah Blanton began dancing at the tender age of four at Wendy Setter's "The Dance Studio" in Bellingham. She continued her studies at the Morca Academy under the direction of Isabel and Teo Morca. While a student at the University of Washington, she began teaching dance classes for children. After graduating magna cum laude in 2000 with a double degree in Dance and English, she has continued to teach at many locations in the Seattle area.

In addition to teaching, Darrah choreographs musicals for Ingraham High School and studies and performs modern dance. She loves sharing the joy of dance with the next generation! Darrah has been teaching Pre-Ballet, Tap, Creative Dance and Parent/Toddler classes at American Dance Institute since 2004.
