Modern
(Children ages 8 - Adult)
The class will start with a simple and effective warm-up to build strength and to stimulate core connections and body awareness. The warm up is followed by phrase work focusing on directional and weight changes, rhythm, and Laban Fundamentals (i.e. time, space, effort, etc.) You can expect to express yourself, find an overall sense of fluidity in your everyday movement, expand your movement vocabulary, sweat, and have fun!
